Der implantatgetragene, nichtgegossene Titansteg

Der Erfolg einer implantologisch-prothetischen Maßnahme hängt entscheidend von der Wahl des Implantatsystems, dem chirurgischen Vorgehen und der prothetischen Versorgung ab. Wichtig ist bei der Anfertigung der Meso- und Suprakonstruktionen die sachgerechte protheti-sche Gestaltung sowie die Wahl des geeigneten Werkstoffes und dessen Verarbeitung [11]. In dieser Arbeit wird der von uns 1991 entwickelte und erstmals im März 1992 zum klinischen Einsatz gebrachte Titansteg aus präfabrizierten Teilen (Procera-System) vorgestellt. Es wird über die geringe Plagueakkumulation während der Tragedauer von März 1992 bis Mai 1993 berichtet.
Summary:
The success of an implant-supported prosthetic restoration hinges on the choice of the implant system, the surgical procedure and the prosthetic construction. Important factors in the manufacturing of the meso- and superstructure are the proper prosthetic design as well as the' use of suitable materials and processing methods [11]. This article describes the use of a titanium bar composed of prefabricated elements (Pro-cera system), which was developed by the authors in 1991 and has been in clinical use since March 1992. The results obtained during a clinical observation period from March 1992 until May 1993 indicate a low rate of plaque accumulation.
