Zur Therapie der apikalen Periimplantitis nach Implantation im Oberkiefer

Zusammenfassung:
Osteolysen um die Implantatspitze sind selten. Diese, in Analogie zur Periimplantitis, als apikale Periimplantitis zu bezeichnende Komplikation führt in der Regel zur Entfernung des betreffenden Implantats. Anhand eines Fallberichtes wird gezeigt, daß mittels freier, autogener Knochentransplantation und membrangeschützter Knochenregeneration (GBR) eine Osteolyse an der Implantatspitze zur Ausheilung gebracht werden kann.
Summary:
Osteolysis around the implant apex is a rare occurrence. By analogy to the term „periimplantitis" this complication may be referred to as ,,apical periimplantitis". As a rule it results in removal of the affected implant. A case is reported to show that free autogenous bone grafts and guided bone regeneration can result in complete remission of osteolysis around the implant apex.
