Zusammenfassung:
Dieser Artikel beschreibt zwei Implantationstechniken für die Einzelzahnlücke: eine Schnittführungstechnik zur Vermeidung von Weichgewebsbeeinträchtigungen und die Technik des Ästhetikfensters zur einfachen Implantatpositionierung. Die Papillen schonende Aufklappung lässt die den Implantationssitus umgebenden Interdentalpapillen intakt und hilft dabei ästhetische Beeinträchtigungen durch periimplantären Knochenabbau und Papillenresorption zu vermeiden. Das Konzept des Ästhetikfensters vermittelt eine einfache Methode, den angemessenen Implantatdurchmesser und die korrekte vestibulär-orale Implantationsposition zu ermitteln, sowie eine eventuelle Notwendigkeit einer Knochenaugmentation aufzuzeigen.

Summary:
Some esthetic problems with implants in the maxillary single tooth gap arise from incision techniques leading to the loss of interdental papillae and from unfavourable implant positioning. The limited flap design, a simple and easy way to preserve the papillae, is described. The concepts of the “Esthetic Boundary” and the “Esthetic Window” help the surgeon to find the correct implant position and avoid esthetic impairments like long crowns and recession of soft and hard tissues months or years later.
